If you care about the quality of the tools you use or sell, you will appreciate a company that cares about the quality of the tools it makes. Midwest Tools takes pride in manufacturing in the USA the very best tinner snips you can buy anywhere in the world today. Their tinner snips outperform and outlast all others.
Each hot drop-forged blade is individually fitted and finish assembled to assure uniform shearing action. The Grade-8 blade pivot bolt provides maximum wear resistance and is affixed into the bottom blade. A special design locknut keeps the blades in adjustment. This feature allows blades to be re-adjusted if necessary after extensive use. Wave washers that are used by other manufacturers to hold blades in adjustment frequently "spring" allowing blades to loosen and separate. Blades that are loose or out of adjustment allow material to wedge sideways between the blades instead of precision cutting. Each Midwest Snips Kush'n-Kote tinner snip is individually inspected and test cut prior to leaving the factory and each performs superior to ASME Standard B107.500-2010(B107.16) performance requirements.
